Synthetic peptide

Product Information
Primary Accession Q7Z7J5
Clone Names 70305168
Peptide ID 70305168
Additional Information
Other Names Developmental pluripotency-associated protein 2, Pluripotent embryonic stem cell-related gene 1 protein, DPPA2, PESCRG1
Target/Specificity The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP8642d was selected from the N-term region of human DPPA2. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Format Synthetic peptide was lyophilized with 100% acetonitrile and is supplied as a powder. Reconstitute with 0.1 ml DI water for a final concentration of 1 mg/ml.
StorageMaintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C.
PrecautionsThis product is for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Protein Information
Name DPPA2
Synonyms PESCRG1
Function Binds to target gene promoters, including NKX2-5 and SYCE1, but not GATA4, and may be involved in the maintenance of the active epigenetic status of these genes.
