|Other Names||NIF1, NIF-1, Nuclear Receptor Coactivator-Interacting Factor 1, ZNF335, Zinc Finger 335|
|Format||100 µg (0.5mg/ml) affinity purified rabbit polyclonal antibody in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 30% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.01% thimerosal.|
|Handling||The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use.|
|Precautions||NIF1 Antibody is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Component or associated component of some histone methyltransferase complexes may regulate transcription through recruitment of those complexes on gene promoters. Enhances ligand- dependent transcriptional activation by nuclear hormone receptors. Plays an important role in neural progenitor cell proliferation and self-renewal through the regulation of specific genes involved brain development, including REST. Also controls the expression of genes involved in somatic development and regulates, for instance, lymphoblast proliferation.|
|Tissue Location||Ubiquitously expressed.|

Provided below are standard protocols that you may find useful for product applications.
NRC-Interacting Factor 1 (NIF1) interacts with the nuclear receptor transcriptional coactivator NRC and enhances ligand-dependent transcriptional activation by nuclear hormone receptors as well as c-Fos and c-Jun. NIF1 may function to influence chromatin structure.
