|Format||Liquid. Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.|
|Reconstitution & Storage||Add 50 ul of distilled water. Final anti-Ptprc antibody concentration is 1 mg/ml in PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. For longer periods of storage, store at 20°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.|
|Precautions||Ptprc Antibody - middle region is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Protein tyrosine-protein phosphatase required for T-cell activation through the antigen receptor. Acts as a positive regulator of T-cell coactivation upon binding to DPP4. The first PTPase domain has enzymatic activity, while the second one seems to affect the substrate specificity of the first one. Upon T-cell activation, recruits and dephosphorylates SKAP1 and FYN (By similarity). Dephosphorylates LYN, and thereby modulates LYN activity (By similarity).|
|Cellular Location||Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein. Membrane raft Note=Colocalized with DPP4 in membrane rafts.|
|Tissue Location||Isoform 1 and isoform 2 are found in thymocyte and lymph node. Isoform 4 and isoform 3 are found in the lymph nod|
