|Other Accession||NM_000953, NP_000944|
|Alias Symbol||AS1, ASRT1, DP, DP1, MGC49004, PTGDR1|
|Other Names||Prostaglandin D2 receptor, PGD receptor, PGD2 receptor, Prostanoid DP receptor, PTGDR|
|Format||Liquid. Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.|
|Reconstitution & Storage||Add 50 ul of distilled water. Final anti-PTGDR antibody concentration is 1 mg/ml in PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. For longer periods of storage, store at 20°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.|
|Precautions||PTGDR antibody - C-terminal region is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Receptor for prostaglandin D2 (PGD2). The activity of this receptor is mainly mediated by G(s) proteins that stimulate adenylate cyclase, resulting in an elevation of intracellular cAMP. A mobilization of calcium is also observed, but without formation of inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate (By similarity).|
|Cellular Location||Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein|
|Tissue Location||Expressed in retinal choroid, ciliary epithelium, longitudinal and circular ciliary muscles, iris, small intestine and platelet membranes.|
