|Application ||WB, E|
|Calculated MW||56400 Da|
|Antigen Region||26-55 aa|
|Other Names||Tripartite motif-containing protein 6, RING finger protein 89, TRIM6, RNF89|
|Target/Specificity||This TRIM6 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 26-55 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human TRIM6.|
|Format||Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.|
|Storage||Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.|
|Precautions||TRIM6 Antibody (N-term) is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase which ubiquitinates MYC and inhibits its transcription activation activity, maintaining the pluripotency of embryonic stem cells (By similarity). Involved in the synthesis of unanchored K48-linked polyubiquitin chains which interact with and activate the serine/threonine kinase IKBKE, leading to phosphorylation of STAT1 and stimulation of an antiviral response (PubMed:24882218).|
