ACBG2 Antibody (Center) - Protein Information

Name ACSBG2
Synonyms BGR
Function
Mediates activation of long-chain fatty acids for both synthesis of cellular lipids, and degradation via beta-oxidation Able to activate long-chain fatty acids. Also able to activate very long-chain fatty acids; however, the relevance of such activity is unclear in vivo. Has increased ability to activate oleic and linoleic acid. May play a role in spermatogenesis
Cellular Location

ACBG2 Antibody (Center) - Application data

  • Western blot analysis of ACBG2 Antibody (Center) (Cat. #AP9854c) in K562 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). ACBG2 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.

  • ACBG2 Antibody (Center) (Cat. #AP9854c) IHC analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded mouse testis tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the ACBG2 Antibody (Center) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

  • ACBG2 Antibody (Center) (Cat. #AP9854c) flow cytometric analysis of K562 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
