|Application ||FC, IHC-P, WB|
|Calculated MW||H=14;M=14 KDa|
|Antigen Region||99-126 aa|
|Other Names||Small nuclear ribonucleoprotein Sm D3, Sm-D3, snRNP core protein D3, SNRPD3|
|Target/Specificity||This SNRPD3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 99-126 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human SNRPD3.|
|Storage||Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.|
|Precautions||SNRPD3 Antibody (C-term) is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Core component of the spliceosomal U1, U2, U4 and U5 small nuclear ribonucleoproteins (snRNPs), the building blocks of the spliceosome. Thereby, plays an important role in the splicing of cellular pre-mRNAs. Most spliceosomal snRNPs contain a common set of Sm proteins SNRPB, SNRPD1, SNRPD2, SNRPD3, SNRPE, SNRPF and SNRPG that assemble in a heptameric protein ring on the Sm site of the small nuclear RNA to form the core snRNP. As part of the U7 snRNP it is involved in histone 3'-end processing.|
|Cellular Location||Cytoplasm, cytosol. Nucleus. Note=SMN-mediated assembly into core snRNPs occurs in the cytosol before SMN-mediated transport to the nucleus to be included in spliceosomes|
