|Other Names||7-methylguanosine phosphate-specific 5'-nucleotidase, 7-methylguanosine nucleotidase, Cytosolic 5'-nucleotidase 3B, Cytosolic 5'-nucleotidase III-like protein, cN-III-like protein, N(7)-methylguanylate 5'-phosphatase, NT5C3B, NT5C3L|
|Target/Specificity||The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP13283a was selected from the N-term region of NT5C3L. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.|
|Format||Synthetic peptide was lyophilized with 100% acetonitrile and is supplied as a powder. Reconstitute with 0.1 ml DI water for a final concentration of 1 mg/ml.|
|Storage||Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C.|
|Precautions||This product is for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Specifically hydrolyzes 7-methylguanosine monophosphate (m(7)GMP) to 7-methylguanosine and inorganic phosphate. The specific activity for m(7)GMP may protect cells against undesired salvage of m(7)GMP and its incorporation into nucleic acids. Also has weak activity for CMP. UMP and purine nucleotides are poor substrates.|
