Background

LMAN2 is a type I transmembrane lectin thatshuttles between the endoplasmic reticulum, the Golgi apparatus andthe plasma membrane. The encoded protein binds high mannose typeglycoproteins and may facilitate their sorting, trafficking andquality control.
