Other Names Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase G, PPIase G, Peptidyl-prolyl isomerase G, CASP10, Clk-associating RS-cyclophilin, CARS-Cyp, CARS-cyclophilin, SR-cyclophilin, SR-cyp, SRcyp, Cyclophilin G, Rotamase G, PPIG
Target/Specificity The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP7353c was selected from the Center region of human PPIG. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Format Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
StorageMaintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C.
PrecautionsThis product is for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Protein Information
Name PPIG
Function PPIase that catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides and may therefore assist protein folding (PubMed:20676357). May be implicated in the folding, transport, and assembly of proteins. May play an important role in the regulation of pre-mRNA splicing.
Cellular Location Nucleus matrix. Nucleus speckle. Note=Colocalizes with RNA splicing factors at nuclear speckles
Tissue Location Ubiquitous..
