Target/Specificity The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP8652a was selected from the N-term region of human SLC23A2. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.

Background

The absorption of vitamin C into the body and its distribution to organs requires two sodium-dependent vitamin C transporters. TSLC23A2 accounts for tissue-specific uptake of vitamin C.
