|Target/Specificity||The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP8706c was selected from the Center region of human ALDH3B1. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.|

May not metabolize short chain aldehydes. May use both NADP(+) and NAD(+) as cofactors. May have a protective role against the cytotoxicity induced by lipid peroxidation.|
