|Other Names||Lymphocyte antigen 75, Ly-75, C-type lectin domain family 13 member B, DEC-205, gp200-MR6, CD205, LY75, CD205, CLEC13B|
|Target/Specificity||The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP8994c was selected from the Center region of human LY75. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.|
|Format||Synthetic peptide was lyophilized with 100% acetonitrile and is supplied as a powder. Reconstitute with 0.1 ml DI water for a final concentration of 1 mg/ml.|
|Storage||Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C.|
|Precautions||This product is for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Acts as an endocytic receptor to direct captured antigens from the extracellular space to a specialized antigen- processing compartment (By similarity). Causes reduced proliferation of B-lymphocytes.|
|Cellular Location||Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein|
|Tissue Location||Expressed in spleen, thymus, colon and peripheral blood lymphocytes. Detected in myeloid and B-lymphoid cell lines. Isoform 2 and isoform 3 are expressed in malignant Hodgkin lymphoma cells called Hodgkin and Reed-Sternberg (HRS) cells.|
