|Other Names||Ecotropic viral integration site 5 protein homolog, EVI-5, Neuroblastoma stage 4S gene protein, EVI5, NB4S|
|Target/Specificity||The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP9168c was selected from the Center region of human EVI5. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.|
|Format||Synthetic peptide was lyophilized with 100% acetonitrile and is supplied as a powder. Reconstitute with 0.1 ml DI water for a final concentration of 1 mg/ml.|
|Storage||Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C.|
|Precautions||This product is for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Functions as a regulator of cell cycle progression by stabilizing the FBXO5 protein and promoting cyclin-A accumulation during interphase. May play a role in cytokinesis.|
|Cellular Location||Nucleus. Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, microtubule organizing center, centrosome. Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, spindle. Note=Associates with the mitotic spindle through anaphase and remains within the midzone and midbody until completion of cytokinesis|
|Tissue Location||Expressed in various cell lines (at protein level). Expressed in a wide range of tissues including brain and adrenal.|
