|Application & Usage||The peptide is used for blocking the antibody activity of TPP. It usually blocks the antibody activity completely in Western blot analysis by incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30-60 minutes at 37°C.|

|Function||mRNA-binding protein involved in post-transcriptional regulation of AU-rich element (ARE)-containing mRNAs. Acts by specifically binding ARE-containing mRNAs and promoting their degradation. Recruits deadenylase CNOT7 (and probably the CCR4-NOT complex) via association with CNOT1.
