|Calculated MW||33394 Da|
|Application & Usage||The peptide is used for blocking the antibody activity of Tim-3. It usually blocks the antibody activity completely in Western blot analysis by incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30-60 minutes at 37°C.|
|Other Names||Hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 2, HAVcr-2, T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain-containing protein 3, TIMD-3, T-cell immunoglobulin mucin receptor 3, TIM-3, T-cell membrane protein 3, HAVCR2, TIM3, TIMD3|
|Formulation||50 µg (0.5 mg/ml) in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.2, containing 50% glycerol, 1% BSA and 0.02% thimerosal.|
|Reconstitution & Storage||-20 °C|
|Precautions||Tim-3 Blocking Peptide is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Regulates macrophage activation. Inhibits T-helper type 1 lymphocyte (Th1)-mediated auto- and alloimmune responses and promotes immunological tolerance. May be also involved in T-cell homing. Receptor for LGALS9.|
|Cellular Location||Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein|
|Tissue Location||T-helper type 1 lymphocyte (Th1)-specific.|
