Background
Recombinant human collagen produced from E. coli is a non-glycosylated 96 kDa polypeptide chain. It is expressed with human collagen cDNA transcribed reversely from mRNA and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Recombinant human Collage retains the function of collagen and unlike collagen extracted from animal tissues; rhCollagen is free from virus, H₂O soluble, and with less immunogenecity for in vivo studies.
