|Calculated MW||79542 Da|
|Application & Usage||The peptide is used for blocking the antibody activity of BRD3. It usually blocks the antibody activity completely in Western blot analysis by incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30-60 minutes at 37°C.|
|Other Names||Bromodomain-containing protein 3, RING3-like protein, BRD3, KIAA0043, RING3L|
|Formulation||50 µg (0.5 mg/ml) in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.2, containing 50% glycerol, 1% BSA and 0.02% thimerosal.|
|Reconstitution & Storage||-20 °C|
|Precautions||BRD3 Blocking Peptide is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Binds hyperacetylated chromatin and plays a role in the regulation of transcription, probably by chromatin remodeling and interaction with transcription factors. Regulates transcription by promoting the binding of the transcription factor GATA1 to its targets (By similarity). Regulates transcription of the CCND1 gene.|
|Cellular Location||Nucleus. Note=Detected on chromatin.|
